Burnham-On-Sea firefighters rescued a baby that was accidentally locked in a car on Thursday afternoon (June 22nd).

One fire engine from Burnham was called to help at 1.11pm after the alarm was raised by a concerned family member.

“One fire appliance from Burnham attended Golf Links Mews after a call stating a baby had been accidentally locked in a car,” a spokesman told Burnham-On-Sea.com.

“On arrival, crews quickly liaised with the owner of the vehicle to remove the eight month old baby who was not in any distress.”

“Crews broke into the vehicle to allow entry for the baby to be removed unharmed.”
