A motorist has been held on suspicion of drink driving after this dramatic crash in Berrow on Saturday morning (December 12th).
Police were called to Barton Road at 2am after residents reported the Peugeot 307 had slammed into a wall opposite Berrow Green.
One resident said the sound of the crash was “like an explosion” in the middle of the night.
A Police spokesman told Burnham-On-Sea.com: “A man in his 20s failed to give a positive breath test.”
