A group of fundraisers from a Berrow holiday park took part in a sponsored overnight sleep over the weekend to raise funds for homeless veterans.
A dozen holidaymakers at Rose Farm Holiday Park slept out overnight in a Berrow field on Saturday (April 25th) despite the cool overnight temperatures for ‘The Great Tommy Sleep Out’. It is the second year running they have held the event and they hope to beat last year’s total of around £2,000.

“There are so many veterans who sadly are living on the streets that need support so we decided to do something for them,” says Mark Vowles, one of the fundraisers.
And Mark Donavan told Burnham-On-Sea.com: “We wanted to do our bit so the event is raising funds for the national fundraising campaign ‘The Great Tommy Sleep Out’.”

“The amount of support we’ve got from our families and others at the park and has been wonderful, we thank everyone who has supported us for this important cause with raffles and sponsorship.”
