Hundreds of people have attended Berrow Junior Football Club’s annual presentation night when awards were handed to its players and a bumper amount was raised for the club.
Over 750 people attended the event on Saturday 7th June at The Seagull Inn in Brean, including 220 players from Under 6’s to Under 14’s.
A spokesperson says: “The night was very enjoyable and a huge success and a huge thank you goes to all who attended of supported the night.”
“£3,928.60 was raised through the raffle and tombola. Top prizes were a signed Haaland shirt, a signed Steven Gerrard shirt kindly donated by MP Plastering Ltd, a signed Manchester United pennant plus many other great raffle prizes. Thank you to the local businesses.”
