£500 raised at Berrow Christmas Market as festive season begins!

-

Hundreds of people visited the first local Christmas market of the festive season when it was held in Berrow on Sunday (October 19th).

The annual Berrow Christmas Market in Berrow Village Hall was hailed a success after attracting large numbers of shoppers and craft traders.

Co-organiser Lynn Smith told Burnham-On-Sea.com: “It was a really successful day with over £500 being made for Berrow Village Hall. We served over 100 breakfasts, bacon and sausage baps.”

“We hope that the stall holders had a profitable day too and we’d like to thank everybody who turned up, both to sell and to buy.”

The Friends of Berrow Village Hall holds the event each autumn with all proceeds going towards the building’s upkeep and continued improvement.
