Newly-appointed Bishop of Taunton leads service in Highbridge

-

The new Bishop of Taunton visited Highbridge on Thursday evening (October 15th) to perform her first confirmation service since her consecration.

Bishop Ruth Worsley, who was consecrated earlier this month in London’s St Paul’s Cathedral, was invited to St John’s Church in Highbridge to lead the special local service.

Rev Simon Bale said it was a “very special evening” for St John’s in hosting the new Bishop and for the six local people being welcomed into the church.
