China-themed activities enjoyed by pupils at Brent Knoll School

-

Pupils at a school near Burnham-On-Sea have been learning about China during a term of themed studies and fun activities to widen their horizons.

The infant children at Brent Knoll School celebrated the end of their topic on China by spending a morning learning and presenting some Chinese dragon dances, as pictured here.

“The dances completed a very creative period for the pupils, as they had also modelled their own terracotta warriors out of clay, painted willow pattern plates, and prepared stir fries,” explained the school’s head teacher, Chris Burman.

These pictures show a colourful Chinese dance workshop underway at Brent Knoll School as the pupils got into the spirit of the China-themed activities at the end of their topic. The activities have proved popular with the youngsters.
