The Siobhan Johnson Singers, Brent Knoll School and Burnham Youth Choir will be performing at a ‘Summer Nights’ concert in Brent Knoll this Saturday (30th June) as a fundraising event for Brent Knoll School.

This is the first time all three groups have joined together to present a concert, which will be held in St Michael’s Church in 6pm.

Siobhan Johnson, who teaches the groups, said: “I am so delighted to involve all of the groups in bringing a concert into the local community.”

“I teach many pupils at Brent Knoll School several instruments who love performing and work so incredibly hard. I am so immensely proud of them all and this is the perfect opportunity for them to gain performance skills and to showcase their talent to the local community, combined with the seasoned performers of Burnham Youth Choir and the elite singers of Siobhan Johnson Singers.”

She added: “It is set to be a fun-packed, entertaining evening of young classical piano playing, group instrumental ensemble, ‘John, Paul and Ringo’ young guitar players, a school choir, solo and duet singers, recorder players to Musical Theatre Medley Mash Ups with music from the musicals and films including The Greatest Showman, The Lion King, Cats, Sound of Music, Chitty Chitty Bang Bang, Frozen, The Jungle Book, Joseph, Matilda, Vera Lynn, Song of the South, Broadway Kids to name but a few.”

Tickets are available from Brent Knoll Post Office or on the door at £4 for adults, £3 for children and £10 for a family (max 4 persons).
