Burnham-On-Sea Rotary Club volunteers plant bulbs along town road

-

Grass verges along a busy Burnham-On-Sea road will be bursting into colour next Spring after hundreds of bulbs were planted by members of the town’s Rotary Club this week.

Volunteers from the group grabbed spades and shovels to bury the daffodil bulbs along the Frank Foley Parkway, as pictured here.

The bulbs were supplied by the district council and were among several sackfuls of daffodil bulbs given to parish councils and community groups across the Sedgemoor area.

A litter pick was also recently carried out by the Rotary Club along nearby Queen’s Drive when several sackfuls of rubbish were taken away over the course of several hours.
