A team of young Burnham-On-Sea and Highbridge football players has unveiled their new kit this week thanks to the support of a local sponsor.
Highbridge Caravans has sponsored the Burnbridge Wanderers under 12 team.
The firm’s Matt Davies visited the team this week to hand over the 30 new team kits as part of a £900 sponsorship deal.
Team manager Neil Chick told Burnham-On-Sea.com: “We’re very grateful to Highbridge Caravans for their support of our team over several years – the players are proud of their kits and grateful for the support.”
He also thanked Burnham and Highbridge Mayor Bill Hancock, who owns the Oaktree where the team is based, for his support of the club over the years.
The club has 120 players aged between 6 and 12 – and newcomers are welcome. Highbridge Caravans brought along their new Airstream caravan to the Oaktree at the latest training session for families to see.
