Young footballers from Burnbridge Wanderers U12s are celebrating this week after receiving over £1,100 from the Viridor Community Fund, allowing the team to purchase smart new kits and jackets.
The funding has given the squad a fresh new look ahead of their upcoming fixtures, with players proudly showing off their updated matchwear.
Viridor representatives Becki and Ben said they were delighted the company could support a grassroots club in its local area, adding that the team “looked great in their new kits”.
Team manager Will Davies and coach James Birch offered special thanks to parent Carl Lindsay, who applied for the grant and helped secure the funding. They said the players “look fantastic” and added they “can’t wait to wear it out for their next match”.
Burnbridge Wanderers JFC has extended its thanks to Viridor for the generous support.
