Burnham and Highbridge Choral Society will perform their annual Spring Concert at St Andrew’s Church in Burnham‑On‑Sea this evening (Saturday 2nd May).
The programme promises a varied and uplifting night of music, featuring Mozart’s Coronation Mass alongside a dramatic medley from Les Misérables. The concert begins at 7.30pm, with refreshments available during the interval.
Tickets are £12.50 for adults, with free entry for accompanied children under 14. They can be purchased on the door, from Material Needs, via the choir’s website, or directly from choir members.
The choir will be led by Musical Director James Davies and accompanied by pianist Mike Wager. They will also be joined by four professional soloists — soprano Siona Stockel, countertenor Simon Clulow, tenor Matthew Minter and bass Christopher Sheldrake — as well as an orchestral ensemble.
Organisers say the evening will offer “something for everyone” and are looking forward to welcoming residents to what is expected to be a joyful community event.
