Burnham & Highbridge Town Band has cancelled its planned outdoor performance on the town’s seafront this weekend due to the hot weather.
A spokesman says: “We have decided not to play on the seafront on Sunday (17th July) due to the forecast.”
“Some are unwilling to play in the heat, some are away with Covid and we’re also aware that any audience would be exposed to the sun for too long.”
