Burnham‑On‑Sea artist Liz Rayner is inviting local creatives to join her new season of Saturday Watercolour Workshops after the success of her first two sessions this summer.
Liz, who teaches from Heron’s Dyke Art Studio in Lympsham, says the response has been so positive that she plans to continue them throughout each season.
The summer classes focused on Sunsets and Silhouettes, attracting painters keen to build confidence and develop their technique in a relaxed, supportive setting.
This autumn’s theme will be Autumn Landscapes, taking inspiration from the rich colours, shifting textures and changing light of the season.
The workshops are designed for those with a little watercolour experience who want a full creative day without committing to a long course.
Each session runs from 10am to 4.30pm and includes tuition, refreshments, lunch and parking. Students are asked to bring their own materials.
Workshops will be held on Saturday 3rd October and Saturday 21st November, priced at £65 per student.
Liz says the atmosphere is welcoming and encouraging, offering plenty of guidance for painters looking to grow their skills.
