Fire crews from Burnham-On-Sea, Bridgwater, and Taunton were called to a domestic property fire in Bridgwater on Tuesday (March 31st) after the fire service received reports of smoke issuing from a home.
Engines from all three stations were sent shortly before 3pm to the property in Westonzoyland Road.
“Crews wearing two sets of breathing apparatus entered the building and used one covering jet to extinguish the fire,” says a spokesperson.
“Firefighters confirmed that smoke was coming from the property and that all occupants had been accounted for.”
A fire service spokesman said the coordinated response ensured the incident was brought under control quickly and safely.
