Burnham-On-Sea’s Collective Dreams gift shop is celebrating being nominated for two awards in its first year of trading with its owners calling them a “great honour”.
The shop on Burnham High Street says it has been nominated in two small business categories as ‘best new business’ and ‘best high street business’.
Owner Sam Northcombe says: “To get nominated for these when we were not even open for one year is such an incredible achievement and we are so grateful for the ongoing support.”
“Every single customer that comes in and tells us we are their favourite shop, you literally make our day. Thank you so much for supporting us.”
“We are two small businesses that met doing long hard days at markets and we are now home to 65 amazing small businesses in our beautiful gift shop.” The shop will attend an awards evening in Birmingham in December.
Collective Dreams has also been nominated in local Somerset awards for best gift shop in Somerset. Sam will represent the business at an awards evening in Bristol this Sunday.
