Record numbers of people headed to the annual Burnham-On-Sea and District Model Railway Club model railway show over the weekend.
Over 20 model railway layouts from all over the country were exhibited at the two-day show, on Saturday August 29th and Sunday August 30th at Highbridge’s King Alfred School Academy.
Alongside this, 10 local and national traders were in attendance, selling a wide range of merchandise. Local modellers were also on hand to give demonstrations on various aspects of the hobby
“We had a great weekend and thank everyone that supported our show. It seems the wet weather on Saturday and poor forecast for Sunday may have contributed to the extra business,” said a spokesman.
