Following a successful debut at Burnham-On-Sea’s Princess Theatre last year, the Hundred Watt Club returns this coming weekend with another lively evening of burlesque, comedy and cabaret.
The popular touring troupe will take to the stage on Saturday 25th April at 8pm, bringing a fresh line-up of performers from across the UK’s glittering burlesque scene.
Audiences can expect a mix of showgirls, riotous comedy, circus skills and tongue‑in‑cheek variety entertainment.
Organisers say no two shows are ever the same, promising a “good old‑fashioned, bawdy‑humoured and champagne‑infused” night out, all wrapped up in the group’s trademark playful style.
Glamorous or vintage attire is encouraged, although guests are welcome to wear whatever they feel comfortable in.
The show is strictly for over‑18s and includes strong language, adult content, partial nudity and loud noises.
Critics have praised the troupe’s distinctive style, with the Sussex Express describing it as “old school mischief and timeless raunchiness,” while The Brighton Fringe Review said the show “sparkles, fizzles and shines brightly on a dark night.”
Tickets, priced at £20, are available via the Princess Theatre’s website.
