Burnham-On-Sea’s Love Lane is set to close later this month for resurfacing works to be carried out on behalf of Somerset Highways.
Kiely Bros will undertake phased works from Tuesday 21st April for 1-5 days, with closures in place between 9.30am and 3.30pm.
The scheme covers a 2,207ft stretch of road and will include surface dressing, the application of Kiely Lock, stud removal and renewal, and new lining.
It is part of a programme of work across the county recently announced by Somerset Council, as Burnham-On-Sea.com reported here.

The contractor says each phase of work is expected to take one day within the stated period, and the road will reopen whenever no works are taking place. Advanced warning signs will be installed ten days before each closure.
A diversion route will be signposted using solid diamond symbols, and residents and businesses will be contacted directly to discuss access arrangements.
Somerset Highways says it aims to minimise disruption as much as possible while the improvements are carried out.
Information on diversion routes can be found at www.one.network.
