Emergency services were called to a crash that closed a busy Burnham-On-Sea road on Saturday evening (September 26th).
Marine Drive was temporarily closed after a silver-coloured van crashed into metal railings alongside the road.
The collision occurred opposite the entrance to Burnham Holiday Village and close to a path leading to the Lighthouse Inn.
Police attended the scene and the road was partly closed while the damaged vehicle was removed.
A commercial recovery service was called in to lift the van onto a truck so it could be taken away.
The road was fully re-opened around 8pm. Anyone who witnessed the incident is asked to contact Police on 101. No serious injuries were reported.
