A young Burnham-On-Sea swimmer has qualified to compete in England’s biggest domestic swimming event of the year.
Callum Richards from the Academy Swim Team in Burnham-On-Sea has qualified for the Summer Nationals, to be held at the Ponds Ford International Sports Centre in Sheffield from 2nd – 6th August.
Head Coach Tracey Kidner said: “Everyone at the Swim & Sports Academy are extremely proud of Callum’s success and wish him every success.”
“He is currently training extremely hard to ensure he is ready to race amongst the very best swimmers in the country.”
Callum has qualified to compete in three events – 50 Backstroke, Breastroke & Freestyle. More details on the event are here.
