Burnham-On-Sea police crack down on vehicle crime

-

Burnham police have this week been cracking down on vehicle crime during their ongoing ‘Operation Relentless’ initiative.

Burnham Town Centre’s Beat Officer, PC Dominic Bryant, pulled over the driver of this vehicle in College Street as part of the drive.

The motorist was issued with a fixed penalty notice for displaying no tax disc and arrested for other alleged motoring offences while the car was impounded.

Numerous other vehicles have been stopped in the town during the last few days for offences ranging from not displaying ‘L’ plates to breaking speed limits.

Vehicle crime hotspots and known offenders are being targeted across Somerset during ‘Operation Relentless’.
