The chapels of rest at Burnham Funeral Services in Oxford Street have been re-dedicated following a major refurbishment of the premises.
Work has been carried out inside and out, including the creation of a new family arrangement room intended to give relatives a more comfortable and less formal setting when arranging a loved one’s funeral. The building has also been redecorated throughout.
The service of re-dedication was led by the Reverend Cheryl Hawkins, Vicar of St Andrew’s Church.
Richard Marsh, Consultant at Burnham Funeral Services, said: “I felt it important to have the chapels re-dedicated following the works, to restore calm and peace to the premises. We are grateful to Reverend Cheryl for her blessings on the chapels, the families we care for and our staff that serve those families.”
