A busy day of Christmas events is scheduled to take place in the Burnham-On-Sea area today (Saturday, December 19th). We’ve highlighted some of the key events taking place:

Father Christmas is holding a grotto at Burnham-On-Sea’s hovercraft station on Burnham seafront on Saturday December 19th, Sunday December 20th and Monday December 21st from 10am-4pm each day. Entry is just £3, to include a small gift, with all funds going towards BARB Search & Rescue.

See ‘Why Christmas?’ at The Princess Theatre at 7pm today. A celebration concert of Christmas carols and music featuring local singers and musicians. Tickets from the Princess Theatre Box Office.

A Christmas Party will be held at Burnham’s Baptist Church in College Street from 4pm-5.30pm with games, party food, songs and fun – all completely free aimed at children up to 11. (Pre-school children must be accompanied by an adult).

A juggling Jack Frost will be at large in the town centre today, provided by Burnham Town Council.

BIARS, the community group that runs Burnham’s tourist information centre, is holding a Christmas coffee morning in the town’s Methodist Church in College Street from 10am with plenty of festive cheer.

Burnham’s Christmas skating rink continues to be open today from 10am in the town’s Lynton Road Car Park with 30-minute skating sessions costing £4.
