Burnham-On-Sea was in a festive mood over the weekend when a line-up of fun-filled Christmas events and entertainment was held in the town.

Burnham’s Coastline Singers, above, sang carols in the High Street during Saturday as part of the festive fun laid on by the Town Council.

High winds at Burnham-On-Sea’s Marine Cove gardens on the seafront led to the carol singing event moving inro St Andrew’s Church for the afternoon.

Berrow Hand Bell Ringers played in the church as part of the afternoon’s festive entertainment.

Burnham-On-Sea Methodist Church held its Christmas Fair on Saturday, which included a visit by Santa.

Cheery Christmas jumpers were the order of the day at the Methodist Church.

A wide range of festive stalls were set up at Burnham-On-Sea Methodist Church.

The Baptist Church also held its Christmas Fair, which was visited by Burnham-On-Sea’s Mayor and Mayoress.

Burnham-On-Sea Scouts held an afternoon of festive fundraising at their HQ.

Local Scouts held several displays at their Christmas Fair.

Somerset Court in Brent Knoll welcomed crafters and photographers from across the Burnham-On-Sea area for their special festive event.

Somerset Court organiser Sally Edwards welcomed the Mayor and Mayoress.

A wide range of entertainment and stalls were laid on at the event.

Burnham-On-Sea charity In Charley’s Memory was one of the charities on display.
