Citizens Advice Somerset to open new advice hub in Burnham-On-Sea next week

-

Burnham-On-Sea residents will soon have easier access to free, confidential and impartial advice with the launch of a new Citizens Advice Somerset community access point at Burnham-On-Sea Community Centre.

The new service will officially open on Monday October 5th and will be available every Monday from 10am until 1pm.

The community access point will give local people the opportunity to speak face-to-face with Citizens Advice advisers about a range of issues, including benefits, debt, housing, employment and family matters.

Citizens Advice Somerset says the new location forms part of its commitment to improving access to support services across Somerset by bringing advice closer to local communities.

The group’s Kylie Page says: “We are delighted to be opening our new community access point in Burnham-on-Sea. We know that people can face a wide range of challenges and that getting the right advice and support at the right time can make a real difference.

“By bringing our service into the heart of the community, we hope to make it easier for local residents to access in person advice. We look forward to welcoming people to the new access point and working alongside local community partners.”

The service will be based at Burnham-on-Sea Community Centre in Berrow Road and will be open every Monday.

Citizens Advice Somerset provides advice on a wide range of topics including benefits, debt, housing, employment, consumer issues and family matters.

Residents can visit the new community access point during opening hours or access support through the organisation’s Adviceline service and online enquiry form via the Citizens Advice Somerset website.
