Burnham-On-Sea author Damien Boyd was the guest speaker at this week’s meeting of the town’s Moose Lodge.

Damien Boyd’s new eighth novel, called Dead Lock, which is an intriguing investigation tale about abduction and murder set in Burnham-On-Sea, went on sale on in May, as we reported here.

Damien enthralled the 60-strong audience at the meeting on Thursday evening (June 29th) with an entertaining account of why he writes his books. Since he started in 2012, his books have now sold 1.7million copies worldwide.

Moose Governor Jim Dolan thanked Damien for the presentation, after which several of those present bought copies – one member from Swindon purchased the full set of eight books.
