Brean Play at Brean Leisure Park have joined forces with the Salvation Army to help their annual Christmas Toy Appeal and provide a better Christmas to disadvantaged children across Somerset.

Visitors to Brean Play were invited to drop new toys into the Play collection point anytime before 12th December.

The Salvation Army has praised people’s generosity as they sort gifts at their Weston centre that were donated by Brean Play and others during the collection.

Between now and Christmas they will be busy wrapping the gifts and distributing the toys to local children, many of whom have difficult family circumstances.

Mike Barsby from Brean Leisure Park told Burnham-On-Sea.com: “The Salvation Army does essential work supporting local families and this appeal goes some way to helping local families in need enjoy the happy Christmas that most of us will take for granted.”

“A big thank you goes to all the people that donated toys at Brean Play this year.”
