A man has been arrested on suspicion of drink-driving following a dramatic crash in Burnham-On-Sea on Saturday morning (May 2nd).
Burnham Road was closed for several hours after a Vauxhall Corsa ended on its roof after colliding with a parked BMW.
A Police spokesman confirmed: “A man has been arrested on suspicion of drink-driving following a collision in Burnham-On-Sea on Saturday 2nd May.”
“At about 8.15am, a Vauxhall car collided with a parked vehicle in Burnham Road.”

“A man was arrested after a roadside breath test and taken to Weston General Hospital as a precaution. He has since been discharged and taken to police custody.”
The road was reopened mid morning after the vehicle was recovered. It led to long delays for motorists in the area.
