Fire crews from Burnham-On-Sea and Bridgwater were called out during the early hours of Easter Sunday after multiple reports of a house fire in Pawlett.
A total of three fire engines were sent to the scene at 2.06am.
On arrival, firefighters confirmed the property was well alight, but all occupants had safely evacuated and were accounted for.
A fire service spokesman said: “Crews used four breathing apparatus, two hose reel jets, two 51mm covering jets, two thermal imaging cameras and a 105 ladder to tackle the blaze.”
The property sustained 100% smoke damage and 50% fire damage. The fire service adds the cause is believed to be accidental.
