Emergency services called to cyclist incident in Berrow

Burnham-On-Sea Police and ambulance crews were called to an incicent in Berrow on Sunday (May 10th) involving a cyclist.

Officers were called to the incident in Parsonage Road, Berrow where a man had come off his bicycle at around 1.10pm.

A Police spokesman confirmed: “Enquiries are continuing at this stage, but we believe he may have suffered a medical episode while cycling, and he has been taken to hospital with injuries which are considered serious.”

“The road was closed while officers responded to the incident.”
