Hundreds of pounds have been raised for Burnham-On-Sea’s Carnival and Christmas lights switch-on during a fundraising film screening in the town this week.
Over £750 was raised for the Carnival Committee and Burnham Chamber of Trade during the screening at The Ritz Cinema on Monday evening.
Dozens of carnival supporters and local business representatives attended the function, and the proceeds were split between the two events.
The Ritz Cinema’s Pat and Beryl Scott were thanked for providing the film, and The Social Club’s Paul Hale for providing the refreshments.
