Firefighters from across Somerset tackled the blaze in the early hours of Wednesday, when several buildings were damaged.

A police spokesman told Burnham-On-Sea.com: “Two boys aged 15 and 18 were arrested in connection with the incident and have now been released on bail.”

The spokesman added that they are treating the blaze as ‘suspicious’ and that investigations are ongoing.

Two appliances from Burnham attended the fire, plus further crews from Weston-Super-Mare, Yeovil, Bridgwater and Street.
