Burnham-On-Sea firefighters were among three crews called out to tackle a blaze in the village of Mark on Wednesday (May 3rd).

Fire crews from Burnham-On-Sea, Cheddar and Bridgwater were all sent to Little Moor Road, Mark at 11.30am where a workshop was on fire containing wood and machinery.

“On arrival crews confirmed this was a fire located in an external dust extracting unit,” a spokesman told Burnham-On-Sea.com.

“Crews used a breathing apparatus and a hose reel jet to extinguish the fire. They also used a thermal image camera to check the remainder of the building.”

The cause of the fire was accidental.
