Burnham-On-Sea Police and firefighters were called to a two-vehicle accident in Brent Knoll on Tuesday morning (November 28th).

They were sent to Bristol Road in Brent Knoll shortly before 7am at the junction of the Fox and Goose pub and Harp Road, as pictured here.

“A fire appliance from Burnham-On-Sea was sent following a call from Police requesting our attendance to a two-vehicle collision, near The Fox and Goose public house, where one of the vehicles was reported to have smoke issuing from it,” said a spokesman.

“Shortly after arriving and investigating it was confirmed that all persons were free and clear of both cars and there was no fire in either of the vehicles, but an airbag had deployed.”

Both the vehicles were made safe, before leaving duty of care with the Police. Police diverted traffic around the scene, as pictured here.
