Brent Knoll singer appeals for help in reaching final of national contest

-

A young singer from Brent Knoll needs your help in reaching the finals of a nationwide music competition at London’s O2 Arena.

Eight year-old Gracie Wickens-Sweet made it through to the regional finals of TeenStar, a new music competition, earlier this year and took part in the area finals at the weekend where she again impressed the judges.

Proud mum Anne told Burnham-On-Sea.com: “She attended the Reading area finals where she got the top judges’ vote and made it to the last four!”

“She missed out on appearing at the 02 by a minuscule amount of audience votes, but now has one last chance to make it to the final with a wildcard entry.”

“We are appealing to Burnham-On-Sea.com readers to help her by texting wildcard 405 to 84222 to help her gain a place at the 02. We need votes by the end of next week.”

TeenStar is for the UK’s best teen and pre-teen singer/songwriters, rappers and vocalists of all genres who perform either covers or original material.

The judges told Gracie she is an “incredible talent for eight years old with great song engagement… you’re going to be a star!”
