Gracie to appear with Callabro after Britain’s Got Talent success

-

An 11-year-old singing star from Brent Knoll who reached the semi-finals of ITV’s Britain’s Got Talent is set to appear in a concert alongside last year’s winners Callabro in July.

Gracie Wickens-Sweet has wowed TV audiences and the celebrity judges on the show with her powerful voice, and she narrowly missed out on reaching the final.

Gracie will be topping the bill with Callabro at a special concert in Yeovil on Saturday 25th July.

Her mum, Anne Sweet, told Burnham-On-Sea.com this week: “Collabro have a huge following, so for Gracie to be asked to perform at this concert is fantastic. She’s really looking forward to it.”

Tickets are on sale now for the concert and can be bought online by clicking here.

Anne added: “We still hope that Gracie might get a record deal from Simon Cowell. We know that he was impressed by her voice and he has the rights for three months to sign her up, so we’ll see.”

“Regardless of that, though, it’s been an unbelievable few weeks – the experience has been incredible for Gracie and she’s enjoyed every minute.”

Judge Amanda Holden tipped Gracie to win the whole show in her envelope prediction prior to the semi-finals, it emerged after Sunday’s final. Simon Cowell called her “really likeable” while Amanda described her as “just fantastic!”
