Highbridge residents invited to have their say on estate’s makeover

-

Staff from Homes in Sedgemoor have been out and about on the Morland Estate this week inviting tenants to have their say on plans for a makeover.

The project is part of a new five-year programme called ‘Great Estates’ which is focusing on improving the areas outside people’s homes, the outside spaces, neighbourhoods and estates.

Work is due to start in Highbridge in approximately one month’s time and staff are encouraging residents to have their say by visiting homes, and offering a £5 shopping voucher for every household that completes a survey.

Dawn Lang, Chief Executive of Homes in Sedgemoor, said: “This is a fantastic opportunity to get to know what our residents want and to encourage them to come forward and be part of our plans as we start our Great Estates programme.”

Homes in Sedgemoor were formed in 2007 and is an ‘arms length management organisation’ wholly owned by Sedgemoor District Council, managing their 4,200 homes. It is a non-profit organisation.
