A Burnham-On-Sea quiz night has raised over £170 for a local hospice.
Friday’s quiz, held at the Ritz Social Club, was well attended with a record attendance of 14 tables taking part to raise funds for St Margaret’s Hospice.
“The total raised on the night was £176 being the proceeds from the entrance money and the raffle plus all the prize winners donating their winnings,” said organiser Mike Perrin.
“A big thank you goes to all those that came and supported us so well.”
“Finally, a special mention of the hospitality received from the Ritz Social Club and their staff – it was outstanding. We will be holding another quiz later in the year.”
