More than £3,000 was raised for charity at a jazz ball run by Huntspill-based BD Jazz Club on Saturday night (September 20th).
The fourth annual Jazz Band Ball was held at The Webbington Hotel and Country Club and included a two-course dinner and coffee with dancing to The Rich Bennett Band and The New Society Trio.
Over 100 guests attended the popular event, raising £3,075 for the local charity Help the Child. The cash was boosted by playing ‘Heads or Tails’, a lavish tombola, and charity auction.
