Hundreds of jazz lovers headed to Burnham-On-Sea on Sunday (June 3rd) for an afternoon of music in the town’s Manor Gardens.

The annual free Jazz In The Park returned with music from several well-established bands over five hours.

Mike Murphy, Chairman of the organising group CADS (Burnham and Highbridge Cultural Arts and Development Society), said: “We had another great turnout and a superb line-up of jazz and swing bands.”

The afternoon included blues from singer guitarist Tim Fardon and the dusky sounds of Emily from Eminem plus three super jazz and swing bands – Lazy River Swing, the Roger Bond quartet and The Andy Barrett band.

Visitors also enjoyed refreshments, a kids zone, face painting, hair-braiding, Henna tattoos and a bouncy castle.
