Minecraft activity day to be held in Burnham-On-Sea on Saturday

-

A morning of Minecraft-themed family fun will be held in Burnham-On-Sea this Saturday (January 9th).

Burnham-On-Sea’s Lakeside Holiday Park in Westfield Road will play host to Minestars from 11am-1.30pm.

Organiser James Panter, right, says: “After the last event in Burnham in September we are doing another activity morning. The event is between 11 am and 1.30 pm with a chance to take part in a Minecraft build battle tournament to win a Gift Card for video game superstore GAME. Plus we have other Minecraft goodies to be won in some one off challenges.”

“We will also be doing some new craft activities with a chance to make some Minecraft items to take away with you. You can also get your face painted as a character from the game.”

Entry will be £4 per child or £10 for a group of three with adults going free. After entry, all the activities are free of charge.

“The build battles are aimed at children between 5 and 12 years of age and will be played on networked PCs in a safe environment with the output broadcast on big screen so everyone can see what’s going on.”

To pre-book a place in one of the battles, email the full name of the child and their age to minestarsplayer@gmail.com
