A new Burnham-On-Sea and Highbridge ukulele group is preparing to strike its first chord this month with the launch of weekly sessions.
The organisers say the relaxed, friendly gatherings at the Bay Centre in Cassis Close are open to local players of all abilities, from total beginners picking up the instrument for the first time to advanced players looking to enjoy music in a social setting.
The group will officially launch on Thursday 27th August and will run every Thursday evening from 7pm-9pm.
Those attending will pay just £3 per session, which the organisers say helps cover the room hire and includes a drink.
