New Burnham-On-Sea town centre cafe set to open this spring

-

A new cafe is set to open its doors in Burnham-On-Sea this spring as work continues on a refurbishment project.

The new College Street Cafe, located in place of the former Chintz Tea Rooms which closed last year, is currently undergoing a full overhaul ahead of a planned opening in the first half of May.

The new venture will be run by Emma Twig and Kevin Hasel, who say they are “very much looking forward to welcoming customers” once the finishing touches are complete.

Kevin adds that the cafe will offer a wide menu of hot and cold items, including breakfasts, ice creams, fresh milkshakes and lunches, with the team aiming to create a relaxed spot for both locals and visitors.

Renovation work is well underway inside the property, with the pair hoping to unveil the refreshed venue in time for the busy spring period in May.
