A brand-new monthly creative market is set to launch in Berrow this summer, showcasing a wide range of handmade goods and local talent from across Somerset.
The first Monthly Creative Market, organised by Bywater Blooms, will be held on Sunday, June 21s at Berrow Village Hall in Parsonage Road. The event will run from 10am to 3pm.
Visitors will be able to browse a variety of stalls offering crafts, artwork, bespoke gifts, and other handmade items produced by independent makers from the local area and wider Somerset community.
A pop-up café will also be open throughout the day, giving shoppers the chance to enjoy refreshments while exploring the stalls.
Organiser Sophia Bywater-Jones says the aim is to create a welcoming, regular space for creativity to flourish.
“We want to give local makers a platform and offer residents a relaxed, enjoyable shopping experience,” she said. “There’s so much talent in this area, and we’re excited to bring everyone together each month.”
The market is open to all, and organisers are encouraging residents and visitors to come along, support small businesses, and enjoy the creative atmosphere.
Following its June launch, the event is expected to become a regular fixture on the local calendar.
