More than 70 people enjoyed a lively old‑time music hall evening at St Andrew’s Hall in Burnham-On-Sea on Saturday 9th May.
The event, organised by Rosaleen Anderson, featured singer and entertainer Maria, who kept the audience entertained with classic songs, humour and plenty of audience participation.
Guests dressed in traditional music‑hall style, with a friendly competition for the best dressed of the night.
The evening also raised an impressive £1,220, with all proceeds going to Weston Hospicecare, supporting the charity’s vital work across the region.
Rosaleen said the evening was full of fun and community spirit, adding that “we all enjoyed it hugely – it was a great evening.”
She thanked everyone who attended and supported the fundraiser, saying the generosity shown on the night was “wonderful to see.”
Regular supporters are reminded that bingo sessions continue on the first Thursday of each month at the Victoria, running from 12pm to 3pm.
