Part of Burnham-On-Sea High Street will be closed for up to five days during roadworks this month.
The closure will affect Burnham High Street from the junction with College Street to the junction with Chapel Street next to the former Lloyds Bank, a total distance of 33 metres.
The work is scheduled to begin on Monday 5th October 2026 and last up to a total of five days.
Somerset Council says the closure order will enable Wales & West Utilities to lay new services. Diversions will be in place for motorists, while pedestrian access will be maintained throughout the work.
