Burnham-On-Sea’s annual music and arts festival BOSfest has been hailed a great success after three days of performances, family activities and entertainment across the town.
The festival concluded on Sunday with a lively afternoon in the Manor Gardens, where crowds gathered in warm late‑summer sunshine to enjoy a full programme of live music. The gardens provided a relaxed setting for the final day, rounding off a weekend that organisers say showcased the best of local talent and community spirit.

The event started on Friday evening at the Ritz Social Club with a well‑supported opening night featuring Bridgwater indie band Petitions, Cornish outfit Venice Treacle and the J E Vistic Rock ’n’ Roll Sound System.
Saturday brought a busy day ib the town centre, with families enjoying a kidzone, facepainting and the Nommies Dog Show. Live music continued throughout the day at both The Victoria Hotel and The Ritz, drawing visitors from the area and further afield.

Sunday’s programme moved to the Manor Gardens for a celebration of West Country life. Rock Choir opened the afternoon before folk singer‑songwriter Timothy Dean performed songs inspired by Somerset folklore. The Chalice Morris Men entertained crowds with traditional dance, while Two Man Ting brought their “Sunshine Afro‑roots” grooves to the lawns.

The Delta River Blues Band returned with their popular mix of covers and originals, followed by energetic rock/punk/funk outfit Giant Robot Bodies. This year’s headliners, Wurzels tribute band The Twice Dailies, closed the festival.
Festival chair Tanya Dyer thanked all those who supported and helped at BOSfest 2026, adding the team was delighted with the turnout and the support shown by the community. Photos: BOSfest and Mike Lang.
