Crowds flock to King Alfred School Academy students’ arts festival

-

Over 100 pieces of art and music performances were on show when talented students from Highbridge’s King Alfred School Academy held an arts festival this week.

The two-day festival started on Monday June 17th and continued on Tuesday 18th at Burnham-On-Sea’s Princess Theatre.

The two evenings consisted of dance, drama and music performances from students as well as an art and photography exhibition.

There was also a sneak preview of scenes from the upcoming school production ‘Guys & Dolls’.

Head of Music & Head of Creative Arts Laura Whiteoak told Burnham-On-Sea.com: “It was a chance to celebrate the arts within our school, as well as show off our incredible student’s talents.”
