A hugely successful fundraising party night has raised over £700 for the Friends of Burnham-On-Sea Hospital.
The Spring Party Night — held on Friday April 17th — took place for the first time at The Batch Country House in Lympsham, attracting around 90 guests for an evening of food, music and community support.

Ceri Joyce, Chairman of the Friends group, said the team was thrilled with the outcome.
“We were delighted to make just over £700. The feedback from all our guests was brilliant about the food, service and staff.”

She added that the charity is especially grateful to The Batch for its generosity.
“Thanks must be made to Batch for providing such wonderful food and letting us have the venue at no cost in support of our hospital. The staff gave wonderful service and could not do enough for us.”

Guests enjoyed a superb meal followed by live entertainment from the Lipinski Brothers, whose performance was described as “wonderful” and a highlight of the night.
Organisers say the success of the event will help support ongoing projects and equipment for Burnham-On-Sea War Memorial Hospital, and they hope to build on the momentum with future fundraising events.
